The Chief Financial Officer, occupying a senior leadership role within the organisation, will be responsible for financial, legal, HR and regulatory aspects of the firm, as well as oversight of its infrastructure and administrative functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the company’s financial planning
Plan and perform risk management duties
Analyze and manage the organization’s liabilities and investments
Plan, implement and manage investment strategies
Manage fundraising plans and capital structure
Determine finance KPIs
Track and ensure cash flow is appropriate and sustainable
Supervise finance personnel such as controllers, financial advisors, financial consultants and treasurers
Manage and retain relationships with various vendors
Prepare current reports
Prepare and present forecasting reports
Adhere to the law and company’s policies

Requirements and Qualifications:

Previous working experience as CFO
MA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or similar relevant field and data analysis
Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law
Hands-on experience with risk management
Hands-on experience with financial management software
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Problem solver and critical thinker mindset

This is a wide-ranging role, across multiple entities, jurisdictions and complex structures, demanding technical knowledge, experience, commerciality, discretion and an organised mindset.

Additional Responsibilities will include:

Managing of finance teams -Financial reporting, cash monitoring and management, cost control, tax compliance. Contract, coordinate and work with outside service providers for tax preparation, auditing, banking, regulatory, and other financial, legal and regulatory needs as necessary
Commercial Finance· Sufficient headline commercial knowledge and awareness of tax and structuring issues (VAT, corporation tax, withholding tax, management and control etc) to guide day-to-day commercial transactions and structuring decisions, and to coordinate with professional advisors as necessary· Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for investments decisions and contract negotiations

Financial Regulations- Responsible for regulatory compliance and oversight for all aspects of the firm and its transactions. Responsible for all FCA related monitoring, reporting and training HR.

Oversee relevant employees, including assistants and accountants
Responsibility for HR function, including leading the hiring process and any disciplinary performance or budgetary related processes

Review and prepare contracts such as NDAs and engagement letters, as well as familiarity with transaction documentation and ability to lead and coordinate a transaction process (lawyers, counterparties, etc)

Responsible for group operating infrastructure and technology needs (IT, communications, systems, policies Health and Safety, property related matters)

Manage IT function and stay up to date with technological advances and software to help streamline the business

Key role in establishing and maintaining relationship with a wide range of professional advisors, clients, investors keeping tight cost control, and leveraging their relevant expertise (UK and international taxation, legal structuring, financial regulation, HR matters, regulatory compliance,
Investor relations - communication, reporting to, coordination with family offices, their principals, staff and advisors as necessary

Must Have Qualities:

Professional qualification such as CIMA/ACA/ACCA or similar strongly preferred
Organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work under pressure are all critical skills
'Can-do' attitude, solution focused with plenty of initiative, and ability to work in small teams
Commercial, flexible and entrepreneurial
Discretion and confidentiality with company and client information
Foreign language skills an advantage (mainly European), but not essential
Solid commercial knowledge of relevant tax, accounting, HR and regulatory matters
Understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Proven experience as a CFO, or similar role, ideally within a regulated environment
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
