Deputy Care Home Manager
Sterling Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a career driven and caring Deputy care home Manager in Stockport Manchester
As Deputy Care Home Manager, you would support your Home Manager and play an important role in team leadership.
You will be an experienced nurse/ Previous care home manager or a an experienced Team leader in the care setting, who holds a current NMC pin, with at least 2 years’ experience in a nursing home environment and be have excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Working closely with your Home Manager and well-established team of staff, you will oversee and assist in the nursing care of each resident, including maintaining accurate records for each of our clients residents whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards.
Your main responsibilities are to ensure person-centred care of our clients residents, delivering the highest standards of care, and ensuring their residents individual needs are always met as you assess their nursing needs.
You would be supervising and managing your team, liaising with residents’ families and other care professionals and keeping up to date and complying with CQC and care standards.
You will demonstrate company core values in all that you do, and will be a role model for your team, inspiring them with your passion and striving for excellence throughout the home.
You will possess strong leadership and management qualities
A visible leader in the home supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business.
Ability to oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training and development of the team.
Play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team.
Ability to Deputise in the overall management of the care home as required by the Home Manager
Communicate professionally with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
Happy to undertake managerial and leadership responsibilities whilst continuing to deliver direct clinical care
Confident supporting the Home Manager with the financial effectiveness of the home, ensuring the home operates within budget through effective use of resources and identify areas to improve efficiency.
Previous experience working within a nursing home setting would be desirable
